Damage like cracks or chips, as well as loose, broken or lost fillings, can all be painful. When gums recede and expose the root of the tooth that’s not protected by enamel, the area can feel sensitive and sore.

The first step in curing toothache is diagnosing its cause. At Face Teeth Smile, we use advanced diagnostic tools to understand the cause of your problem, then we plan a course of action tailored to your needs:
- Broken teeth or those that are left with a hole after decay has been treated can be repaired using white fillings. These are made of tooth-coloured composite and let us carry out minimally invasive repairs that save as much natural tooth as possible.
- Where there’s infection in or damage to the nerves in the root of a tooth, root canal treatment is needed. We thoroughly clean out infected tissue then fill the resultant hole with a root filling, always with the aim of saving the tooth.
- Teeth in advanced stages of decay or which are severely damaged may need to be extracted. In this instance, we’ll discuss replacement options with you before the procedure to ensure the best long-term outcome.
